Control4 really gets it.  Not only do they develop leading-edge technology for you, today’s tech-savvy homeowner, but they enable you to integrate your own voice-activated upgrades. Now that’s smart! Actually, Control4 calls it a Smart Home Skill for Alexa and it’s offered through their 4Sight subscription. 

A SMART home seems to be a lot of things, and for a lot of reasons.  To some it’s an all-in-one, literally the whole house, remote control.  To others, it’s a reassuring security system.  It’s a convenience, it adds to your home’s resale value, it supports energy efficiency, and the list goes on.  But what’s the common denominator?
